Cakes by Annamaria is a bakery specializing in customized cakes, desserts, and pastries. All of our recipes are tried and tested, and made with only the finest ingredients.
I opened Cakes by Annamaria after graduating from Humber College with a diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts Management. It is my passion to create unique and delicious cakes that make any special occasion even more memorable.
My name is Annamaria Ilari and I am certified pastry chef and cake designer!
My story of how I got here can be traced back to my childhood. I always loved baking with my mom and our hours spent in the kitchen are some of my favorite memories. Once she started cake decorating, I quickly became inspired to follow in her foot steps. I began decorating cakes back in 2018 and I have not looked back.
Although my passion is rooted in cake decorating, my education at Humber helped me develop a deep love for French pastries and chocolate work.
I am a firm believer that, while all food brings people together, desserts contribute to the curation of life's sweetest memories. I hope you will give me and my cakes or pastries the honor of being apart of yours.
